We reported yesterday that multi-billionaire businessman and Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, arrived the country on Tuesday, August 30th, for his first-ever visit to Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa.
The techprenuer whose first port of call was the Co-Creation Hub, a technology incubator, in the Yaba area of Lagos, later took to his verified Facebook page, and stated that he was in the country to learn about the startup ecosystem.
“I am learning about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria. The energy here is amazing and I’m excited to learn as much as I can.
“Our first stop is the Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB) in Yaba. I got to talk to kids at a summer coding camp and entrepreneurs who come to CcHub to build and launch their apps”, Zuckerberg said.
He was reportedly trekking to visit Andela, an engineering organisation that is building the next generation of technical leaders in Africa
