Boko Haram Terrorists Allegedly Behead Governor’s Bodyguard In Yobe State
A Governor’s security aide who is a gallant operative of the Nigerian Police Force, has lost his life after he was reportedly killed by Boko Haram insurgents.
Boko Haram terrorists on Tuesday, allegedly beheaded one of Yobe’s State Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam’s security aides in Kukareta, a suburb of Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.
The deceased, a Policeman alongside his colleagues, were returning to Damaturu after an official assignment in Maiduguri.
It was gathered that they met the Boko Haram insurgents dressed in military uniform at a roadblock.
The gallant Police Officer approached the terrorists to inquire from them the reason for blocking the high way.
The insurgents shot Inspector Ahmed point blank and subsequently beheaded him, while the remaining police escorts reportedly ran back.
